Dorado is located on the North Coast of Puerto Rico approximately 20 miles west of San Juan. The resort communities are located just west of the beautiful town of Dorado along four miles of white sand beach.

The Municipality of Dorado is host to the famous Hyatt Dorado Beach Resort and Casino. A 1,000 acre luxury resort set on a secluded crescent shaped beach. This resort holds the island's finest golf courses; and the Hyatt Regency Cerromar Hotel, which has the largest and most beautiful swimming pool in the world (1,776 ft. long). Lakeside Villas (a resort community) is located just west of the Cerromar Property; while the Dorado Reef community is located at the shores of the Dorado Hyatt Regency Property.
