Luquillo is the Sun Capital of the World! The beach villa is only 5 minutes away from the world-famous Luquillo Beach, and our own Playa Azul beach area, La Pared Beach for surfing. El Yunque Rainforest the only one in the whole USA, and Las Cabezas de San Juan Natural Reserve and Lighthouse, which is home to one of the world's last remaining bioluminescent bay. It is a 15-minute drive to the ferry and airports that provide transportation to the offshore islands of Culebra and Vieques. Dorado, Vega Baja and Palmas del Mar they do not have a beach area for swimming, and Isla Verde Beach is very crowded on weekends and traffic is very congested in this area. Word to the wise the Caribbean is Paradise on Earth. Puerto Rico being the Shining Star of the Caribbean is a territory of the United States.
