Why consider a Caribbean Island Vacation Rental? The rental of a private home, condominium or apartment can be an attractive alternative to high cost hotel rooms. These options provide privacy and convenience in addition to the potential cost savings for the longer vacations. Vacation Villa owners at many of the high-end resort communities located throughout the Caribbean include their vacation rental units in the resort's rental inventory. These units are typically managed by the hotel located within the resort or a licensed vacation rental property manager located within the community. Property managers take care of all the customer transactions and support. The daily rental rates for these units are typically higher, but the amenities are usually 5 star, with golf, pools, sport fishing, scuba diving, and fine dining or budget restaurants all located within the resort community.
Many vacation homes, apartment rentals, and some guest cottages offer full kitchens with cooking utensils. Other goodies such as TV's with VCRs, audio equipment, laundry facilities, and scenic views from a deck or a porch are among the amenities frequently offered. Country cottages offer basic amenities with few frills but are often located in beautiful lush country settings. Guest Houses and Inns typically provide the same amenities as Paradores (country inns in Puerto Rico), but do not normally include individual phone access. They are also located near popular attractions and offer still lower lodging costs. Saving money is the name of the game here. Vacation Rental homes and apartments/condos condos are privately owned, but made available to vacationers when the owners are not using them. These properties are clean and well maintained. Most, if not all, are located on the water, or a short walking distance to the water. Rental units located on hillsides or inland offer spectacular views of the ocean or country scenery. Enjoy being immersed in the local community while reveling in the dramatic hillside or ocean views.
