Aguadilla:
... was dying for some winter
riding and had a blast here. the downhill section is steep and very
tough, but short so you will get bored with that, but the cross country
is great. lots of variety, mostly cool and shady since it's in the
jungle. also right on the beach so you can work up a sweat then go jump
in the ocean. Jose is the proprieter at Aquatica dive and bike shop -
and aparrently the mastermind behind the trail system. give him a call
if you want to rent bikes. Bottom line - not an epic ride, but a great
way to pass the time in PR and get some exercise.
Cambalache Forest:
Nice
trail in the forest. Has lots of loose rock and carse rock sections for
fast dangerous rides. Most of the ride is under the shade of trees. The
trails are not marked but you will never get lost.
... This is a rocky technical trail. Has trails for every ability
level. Few riders can clear the "Cuesta del Diablo" which is a very
steep, rocky and rooty downhill. Try it you won't be dissapointed. One
last recomendation, bring extra tubes for pinch flats or try riding
tubeless.
Sosua:
... im from puerto rico from
a town called Yauco is close to sabana grande this route is amazing the
downhill section nasty i have a hardtail bike and i dont go for there is
CRAZY ...
I suggest to be in excellent shape because is very
demanding. I rated 5 stars because the views. The nature and you will be
conected. Go to Susua and enjoy the hard work...
Guanica Dry Forest:
... Use slime or tuffy, lots
of cactus in the area. Great hot ride full of sunshine! I
personally don't love the rocky roads... but a nice sight to
see!!
